Boys will be boys...

Well, I have a few minutes while I have wireless connection at the hospital so I thought I'd do some blog therapy. :) My dad is eating dinner, and we've had a nice day at the hospital just visiting. I'm glad I could have this time with him while Forrest has Walker.

Ok so onto the pictures and the story behind it. Last week during a rainy, yet warm enough day...I let Walker play outside. I went inside to grab something and this is what I came back to find. I LOVE the look on his face don't you? If I had to caption it, it might be
"What? You leave me alone for 1 minute and think I won't find the nearest water/mud puddle?" I mean he literally was sitting in the mud puddle when I found him. I just had to laugh instead of yell and get onto him. BOYS WILL BE BOYS! The best part of it all was instead of changing his pants, I 'wagoned' him to the park like that because I knew he'd do the same thing there as soon as he got the chance. I love my BOY!

Christmas on the Coast...

Well, I'm a little behind but better late than never right? The first picture is from the day that Walker & I put up the Christmas tree. I'm not going to lie it was an intimidating thought to do this task with an inquisitive toddler...but we did just fine as you can see he was really lovin' the box and extra perks. A few weekends ago they had 'Christmas in the Pass'...as in Pass Christian (our town). Since we live in the heart of PC...we walked to the festival and saw the boat parade and other festivities. This was our first encounter with Santa this year, and Walker didn't really like him too much...oh well! The boat parade was really neat, but we missed most of it since we ran inside to get warm. Here is a picture of a sailboat, something you don't see everyday especially if you don't live on the water. Isn't it neat? And here are some of our best friends we've made in our 5 months we've been here. I danced with Lauren on the MSU Pom Squad and we got reconnected through her sister-n-law via blog (of course) :)! Her son Crosby and Walker are two months apart. This is a picture from Crosby's 1st birthday party where Santa showed up (and again it was a no go on a smile). That's all for now friends...we are about to start our holiday break by driving up to Memphis to see my family. My dad has surgery today, please pray for him if you remember to. We appreciate your support, love, and prayers. Not sure when I'll get to post again since our parents computers are so slow. Merry Christmas and may we all give thanks to God for sending His only son to be born to save us! We hope to get our Christmas card on the blog soon...here's hoping!
